New Pencils

I just tried out a new set of Prismacolor graphite pencils, and holy cow, what a difference they make. I knew drawing with just a mechanical pencil wasn't the best thing, but I didn't realize how severely limiting that is until I used pencils of different hardness to lightly sketch out an object, and then gradually build up shadows. Comparing today's drawing of a coffee mug with the one I did yesterday is like night and day.
