But Why Aren't the Circles Round?!

I managed to stress myself out by drawing circles of all things. I was trying to make them perfectly round, but nearly all of them were lopsided or crooked or just plain janky.

I've practiced drawing almost every day for over two months, and my hand and my brain are still at odds with each other. For most things I try to draw-- faces, hands, or even basic shapes-- it's like either my brain doesn't truly know what it wants to put on the paper, or my hand has trouble getting the message, or both.

The only thing I know to do is to keep trying.

Circles are extremely hard for even the best of artists!

I just did some Googling, and oh man, you're right! I just learned that the parts of the brain that get involved in drawing circles aren't the same parts that recognize perfect shapes, so it's hard to get them both in sync. Glad to know it's not just me.
