tippetariuswritesHello! This journal is where I ramble about things like my Skyrim fanfic, journaling, books, games, or whatever else my brain decides to fixate on at the moment. I like sharing things that seem fun or cool or potentially helpful.
You'll probably see a lot of posts about Rumarin, one of many characters from the Interesting NPCs mod for Skyrim. For fun I started writing fanfic about Rumarin and the Dragonborn, and somehow a few throwaway scenes turned into a long-term writing project.
My Works
I'm working on a Skyrim fanfic series, Kyne's Gift. My husband has been my beta reader from the beginning, and the story owes a lot to his feedback and influence.

Every once in a while I draw, and occasionally I share my scribblings. Those are associated with the art: my art tag.
Transformative Works Policy
Fanart is wonderful. No need to ask permission as long as you credit me and link back to the original work. But I'd love it if you let me know so I can squee over it!
Anything else, please ask first. Someday I may change this once I've completely finished something. For example, I'd be delighted if someone wanted to do a podfic or translation of my fanfic. Trouble is, I often go back and make tweaks to previous chapters, and I'd hate to mess up someone else's work that way.

I love hearing from people, but I also have no expectations on that front. Comment or not, subscribe or unsubscribe at will.

Commenting Policy
Comments are welcome and appreciated! Short comments, long comments, comments on old posts, it's all good. I'll usually respond to anything that's more than a word or two. Lurking is A-OK too, especially since I do that myself.
My Interests
Favorite movies: A complete list would be dominated by Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks. However, the highlights include Ratatouille, How to Train Your Dragon, Wreck-It Ralph, and The Princess and the Frog. Other favorites include Arsenic and Old Lace, 12 Angry Men, Inherit the Wind, Rear Window, Megamind, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Princess Bride, Guardians of the Galaxy (oh hey that's technically Disney too), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Lord of the Rings, and the original Star Wars trilogy (oh no Disney is devouring everything).
Favorite TV shows: Fraggle Rock, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Batman: The Animated Series, Firefly, Columbo, The Addams Family, The Twilight Zone
Favorite games: The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, Skyrim, Morrowind, Monkey Island 1-3, Star Control 2, Ultima VII: The Black Gate, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Soulcalibur 2, Zelda: Wind Waker, Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, Quest for Glory 2. I'm not playing most of these games anymore, but they're lodged deep in my brain.
