Sonic Movie Thoughts

Even with a vastly improved design for Sonic, I'm still unsure about the whole idea of a Sonic movie. It could be fun, it could even be great, but it could also be a mess. And even though Robotnik is a human (I think?), I usually balk at stories that place Sonic in a world full of humans. Maybe that's because when you put this blue hedgehog next to ordinary people, he starts looking alien. Or maybe it's because part of Sonic's appeal is the fantasy worlds he inhabits, whether he's zooming through Emerald Hill Zone or trashing 'bots in Robotropolis.

But hey, at least this Sonic looks like Sonic. That's a relief.
