Progress Report #2 for TOTW Chapter 14

According to my log, I've written 22,815 words for chapter 14 of TOTW. That includes crappy first drafts, notes, and outlines. To put that into perspective, I think the average word count for a finished chapter is somewhere between 4-5k. It's a little ridiculous, considering that the chapter is nowhere near ready.

Rumarin Headcanon: Early Weapon "Training"

Rumarin’s knowledge of weapons and sword fighting was heavily influenced by traveling artists. For example, he learned some archery trick shooting from Tamriel’s equivalent of Annie Oakley. From actors he learned dramatic spinning moves that look great on the stage. Unfortunately those same moves will usually get you killed in actual combat. When he started traveling with real adventurer-types, Rumarin had to be broken of bad sword fighting habits.
