Getting Sad About Dinosaurs

At the laundromat I saw an old blanket or comforter printed with Earl Sinclair and Baby Sinclair from the Dinosaur TV series. My first thought was, wow, that blanket must be nearly 30 years old. Then I remembered how the series ended and started feeling down.

Found a video of the ending. I think it was the right way to close the series, but boy is it hard to watch. Maybe the worst part is knowing it's a warning that the world doesn't seem to be heeding.

OMG I remember this show! And as I recall, it tackled a few heavier themes throughout the episodes? I do remember loving the hell out of it, though.

Oh yeah, it was great! I loved the show too when I was a kid, though I think I was paying more attention to the funny shenanigans ("Not the Mama!") than to the heavier themes of environmentalism, drug use, etc.

Now I'm curious to see if I can find it streaming somewhere. I remember identifying with Robbie a lot.

Robbie is probably my favorite. He often seems the most thoughtful and progressive of the bunch.
